[BHS-O] 1/13 Bayfront Park, Menlo Park (practice meet)

Hi BHS Orienteers,

Tomorrow is a unique practice meet.

There will be a memory course available.  In Memory O, you carry a compass, but not a map.   At each control there is a map fragment with your next leg.  You can study it as long as you like, but not take it with you.  If you have trouble on the leg, you can come back to study it some more.  This course will improve your map skills at future events.

This is one of three courses, each non-overlapping (i.e. different controls).  You could do more than one, for more navigation practice, more exercise, or more PE Waiver credit.

All courses will have bait controls, to reduce "control chasing".  I.e. there will be lots of controls visible in an area.  So check the control ID before punching.

Bayfront Park is lovely, green, relatively flat, with amazing views around the bay.

The weather will be clear and dry.
