Job Roles/Responsibilities:

Role Summary: Project planning, scheduling and execution of new capabilities in existing platform

 

Responsibilities

• Accountable for defining, planning, orchestrating, and delivering a given strategic initiative.

• Directs and drives large-scale, complex projects often involving multiple Cigna constituents as well as external delivery partners through all phases of the SDLC.

• Define and track project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan that includes resource plans, contingency plans, and other related project management artifacts.

• Negotiates and manages scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed upon time, cost, and quality parameters.

• Serves as subject matter expert in routinely briefing key stakeholders on different aspects of assigned initiatives.

• Builds an environment of trust, collaboration, and openness among peers and other team members. Shares lessons learned, perceptions, and best practices openly.

• Proposes recommendations and adjustments to project delivery and related solutions throughout the life of the initiative.

• Thinks strategically with the big picture in mind to direct

• Communicates clearly with all levels of stakeholders to ensure deliverables are hit. Can articulate tradeoffs and impacts to enable strategic and tactical decision making as well as mitigate risk.

• Always look for improving the way we get things done
