Role Summary
Fix critical accessibility issues on public-facing websites, apps, forms, and platforms using HTML, CSS, ARIA, JavaScript, and design libraries. Work hands-on in CMS like Sitecore, Salesforce, Wordpress; custom apps; AWS/Biznet. Partner with testers in agile sprints via JIRA to remediate audits and ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities (Remediation Focus)

· Fix front-end issues: color, alt text, headings, keyboard nav, ARIA/link roles.

· Restructure HTML/CSS/ARIA for WCAG 2.1 AA.

· Update CMS templates/content in Sitecore, Salesforce, Wordpress.

· Guide teams on docs/forms/media; validate fixes; share patterns.

· Use JIRA for tickets; collaborate with testers/content strategists.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s in CS, Software Eng, IT, or related.

· 4+ years remediating accessibility in sites/apps/platforms.

· Expert HTML/CSS/JS/ARIA; WCAG 2.1 AA; tools like Axe, NVDA, JAWS.

· Sitecore/Salesforce experience (proven fixes); Biznet/AWS familiarity.

· Agile/JIRA; troubleshooting (keyboard traps, forms, responsive).

· Strong collab/comms skills.

Preferred Skills

· Sitecore MVC/SXA; CMS/front-end certs; remediation tools.

· Custom CMS themes; content structure; PDF/Word fixes.

· CI/CD accessibility (axe-core); Figma/Adobe XD.

Desired Certs (IAAP WAS strongly preferred): CPACC, DHS Trusted Tester, Deque Developer, Salesforce Accessibility.
