Job Details

6+ years of experience in API development, with at least 3+ years in healthcare data standards (FHIR and HL7)

Lead the design and implementation of RESTful APIs, with a focus on FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) and HL7 messaging standards

Collaborate with healthcare clients, product teams, and backend engineers to integrate data across systems (EHRs, HIEs, third-party apps)

Ensure API designs meet regulatory requirements (HIPAA, ONC, etc.) and security best practices

Provide architectural guidance and hands-on support in implementing FHIR servers, resources, and profiles

Lead API documentation, versioning, and lifecycle management

Troubleshoot and optimize performance of HL7v2 interfaces and FHIR-based APIs
