Dear Members,

 

As you would be aware, the Council has decided that the General Management and Communication Skills (GMCS) Programme, presently being organized for 15 days for the CA students should be organized twice during the period of articled training as under:

 

(i)      GMCS-I      (15 days)    - During 1^st year of articled training

(ii)     GMCS-II     (15 days)   - After completion of 18 months of training but before  

                                                completion of articled training

 

In view of the above decision, it is hereby informed that;

GMCS-I Programme will be implemented in respect of those who register for articled training on or after 1^st May, 2012. GMCS-II Programme will be implemented for those who complete GMCS-I and 18 months of training but before completion of articled training (Those who are undergoing articled training or are registered prior to 1^st May, 2012 shall be governed by existing curriculum.)

As per the above guidelines by the Board of Studies , it has been decided that the New GMCS Course -1, shall commence from 1st October 2012 at Ahmedabad Branch. Please inform your Articled Assistants to Register with Ahmedabad Branch along with Fees of Rs.4000/- by Cheque/ DD in favour of “Ahmedabad Branch of WIRC of ICAI” before 25.09.2012.
