Special General Meeting for Elections to Managing Committee of Bharuch Branch of WIRC of ICAI.

  Dear Members,

This refers to Notice dated 14th January 2016, calling for Special General Meeting of Members of Bharuch Branch of WIRC of ICAI on 6th February 2016, for election of 6 Members of Managing Committee of Bharuch Branch for the term 2016-2019.

Six Nomination forms from the following members:

1.CA Kaushal Surti

2. CA Bhavesh Hariyani

3. CA Sanjeev Sharma

4. CA Dhiraj Agarwal

5. CA Mahavir Jain

6. CA Arpita Shah

were received and submitted to Returning Officer/Polling Officer CA Chirag Tambedia upto 27th January 2016, being the last date of Receipt of Nominations, and there were no withdrawals of the same as on 31st January 2016, being the last date of withdrawal of nominations.

On behalf of the Managing Committee of Bharuch Branch, I have consulted with WIRC of ICAI, as well as ICAI New Delhi- Dy. Secretary (Council Affairs), and on behalf of  Managing Committee 2013-2016 of Bharuch Branch, I invite you (CA Kaushal Surti, CA Bhavesh Hariyani, CA Sanjeev Sharma, CA Dhiraj Agarwal, CA Mahavir Jain, and CA Arpita Shah) to form the Managing Committee of Bharuch Branch for the term 2016-2019.

Since 6 Nominations were received for the 6 Member Committee of Bharuch Branch, the Special General Meeting for elections to the Committee called for on 6th February 2016, stands cancelled.

I congratulate the above nominated members on their elevation to the Managing Committee of Bharuch Branch, and thank them for taking the initiative to take on additional responsibilities. 

I request the 6 Nominated Members mentioned above to do the needful at the earliest.
