As you know Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 replaced earlier 'Debtor in Possession' regime with a more expedient 'Creditor in Control' regime. IBC provides legal framework for insolvency resolution of stressed assets which negatively affecting balance sheets of banks and corporates. 

 

We have authored an article on 'Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code' in which we have discuss various provisions of the code, Position of Operational Creditor and Financial Creditors in CIRP, Monopoly of Financial Creditors in CoC etc.
