Fling right around the corner - please read!!

Hey guys,

With fling just around the corner, I wanted to go over a few things:

1. Anyone found hosting a party, or even a group of people in their room with alcohol will be fined $100 per person (so if you live in a double - $200 total). RAs and GAs will be going through the halls throughout the day on Friday and Saturday. 

2. Please be safe. While there's a huge culture around drinking for drinking's sake during Fling, only you know your limits and what you can handle. Fling is supposed to be a fun time where you can hang out with your friends because everyone is out and about. You want to be able to remember that!!

3. I will be working with MERT on Thursday night and on RA duty pretty much all day during the day on Friday. If you ever find yourself in danger or think you need help, CALL ME. I will have my phone on me at all times. I want to let you know that I'm making myself available to you. If I can't help at the time, I'll direct you to the appropriate resource. 

4. Call MERT if someone is sick. Penn has medical amnesty which means you don't get in trouble with the law, so there's reason not to call for help when someone needs it. 

5. Remember that anyone who doesn't live in the building can't get in. So unfortunately, none of your friends who don't live in Fisher can't come to your room. Also, you'll only be able to get in through a specific door. There will be signs, follow them.

6. Lock your doors for these few days especially in case you don't usually.

7. Have fun!! Fling is great because everyone's out and about so enjoy it :)
