Hi Varun,

I totally understand. If you could please encourage your friends, particularly males, to sign-up, we'd really appreciate it!

Best,
Nathalie

Hey Nathalie,

After reviewing my schedule and seeing that there are quite a few additions to that week's academic commitments, I am not going to be able to host a scholar. I am very sorry about this inconvenience and hope that there is a replacement. If you need my help finding a replacement, please tell me and I can try to find one. Sorry for the trouble.

Best,

Varun

Hi Varun,

First of all, thank you for volunteering to host! This is not really a big time commitment. All we need is for you to pick them up on Monday and take them to your room and set them up. You can pick them up after your exam at 8pm or 10:30pm and drop them off in your room. They will be able to enter the dorms with a special wristband. Additionally, the Office of Admissions has created a list of programming for the Scholars so they have a schedule of their own to follow. It's ok if you completely go about your day when you need to! Please let me know if this still works and if you can make the orientations either tomorrow or Wednesday from 4:00-4:30 or 4:30-5pm.

Once again, thank you for hosting!
Nathalie

Hi Nathalie,

I have signed up to take one scholar but I have an exam that night at 6 which shall go to 7:30. I also have a major paper due on Wednesday. I was wondering if it is therefore still practical for me to take on a scholar? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Varun

A few corrections:

Official host match up is Monday, April 8th from 5-6:45pm. The 6:45-10:30pm time slot is only for those who cannot pick up during the match time. After the show, you may need to sign scholars back into dorm. You may also want to make sure your scholar can safely get back to dorm on own.

Sorry for the confusion, but please keep the questions coming! I want to make sure everything is clear.

Nathalie
