As we all know after the establishment of the Patanjali University in Haridwar by "Pujya Swami Ramdevjee and Acharya Balkrishnajee Maharaj"; the Bachelor's, Master's and PG Diploma courses are being started in Yog(a) starting this year. Courses proposed for the academic year 2010-11
The following courses are proposed to be started in the academic year 2010-11.
1. B.A. (with Yoga Science)
2. M.A./ M.Sc (Yoga Science)
3. P.G. Diploma in Panchkarma
4. P.G. Diploma in Yoga Science
5. P.G. Diploma in Yoga Health and Cultural Tourism.

Rules of Admission
1. B.A. (with Yoga Science)
This course shall extend over a period of three years divided in six semesters. Three subjects will be taught in
B.A. Yoga shall be a compulsory subject. Besides yoga, these will be two more subjects of study.
Qualification for Admission- For admission 10+2 passed with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Maximum age- 25 years on 1st August 2010.
Admission will be based on Merit/ Interview.
A semester will be of six months’ duration. Teaching will be in theory and practical (wherever necessary).
Fees- Tuition fee for one year will be Rs 15000/- which may be paid on 50% basis in each semester.

2. M.A. (Yoga Science)
Duration of the course will be two years divided into 4 semesters.
Qualification for Admission - Passed Bachelor's degree (10+2+3) with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised University.
Maximum age- 30 years on 1st August 2010.
Admission will be based on Merit/ Interview.
Teaching in this course will be theory and practical.
Fees- Annual tuition fee will be Rs. 20000/- payable 50% in each semester.

2. M.Sc (Yoga Science)
Duration of the course will be two years divided into 4 semesters.
Qualification for Admission- Passed Bachelor's degree in Science (10+2+3) with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised University.
Maximum age- 30 years on 1st August 2010.
Admission will be based on Merit/ Interview.
Teaching in this course will be theory and practical.
Fees- Annual tuition fee will be Rs. 20000/- payable 50% in each semester.

3. P.G. Diploma in Panchkarma
Qualification for Admission- Bachelor's degree in Ayurveda from a recognised University with 60% marks.
The Course of study extends over a period of one year divided into two semesters. The course will be in theory and practical both.
Annual tuition fees will be Rs. 35000/- divided in two parts. The payment may be made in each semester.
Maximum age- 35 years on 1st August 2010.

4. P.G. Diploma in Yoga Science
Qualification for Admission- Bachelor's degree (10+2+3) from a recognised University with 50% marks.
The course of study shall extend over a period of one year divided into two semesters. Teaching will be in theory and practical.
Annual tuition fee will be Rs. 20000/- divided in two parts. Payment may be made in each semester.
Maximum age- 35 years on 1st August 2010.

5. P.G. Diploma in Yoga Health and Cultural Tourism.
Qualification for Admission- Bachelor's degree (10+2+3) from a recognised University with 50% marks.
The course of study shall extend over a period of one year divided into two semesters. Teaching will be in theory and practical.
Annual tuition fee will be Rs. 20000/- divided in two parts. Payment may be made per semester.
Maximum age- 35 years on 1st August 2010.

Dress for Students
Students have to wear white dress in yoga practical and in other classes.

Hostel
As far as possible facility of hostel will be provided to every student where mess facility will also be available. It is expected that every student will maintain discipline in the hostel and follow the rules and instructions.

Fees for Hostel
1. Fee for Residence- Rs 1000/- per month.
2. Fee for Food- Rs 1800/- per month.

How to pay?
All payments will be made by draft payable to the University of Patanjali, at Haridwar.
Form and Prospectus for Admission- Application form and prospectus can be received by depositing Bank Draft of Rs 100/- payable to the University of Patanjali, at Haridwar (Demand by post Rs 50/- extra as postal charges). Last date for receiving prospectus is 15 July 2010. Send a self - addressed envelope of 11"×9" with draft. The last date for submitting the filled form is 15 July 2010. Note:-
1. 6% seats in every subject will be arbitrary of the Vice- Chancellor.
2. Selection will be based on marks obtained in various exams and Interview.
