मैं आपको एक important बात बताना चाहता हूँ. आपने भी दिक्षित जी का
Colgate tooth paste के उपर एक lecture suna hoga.. जिसमे उन्होने बताया
कि Colgate में Sodium Lauryl Sulfate naam ka chemical dala jata hai.

J aap log keh rahe hai colgate mein jahar hai,Oh tooth paste use karne ke baad kisi ko nuksaan hua karke suna hai kya?Isi tarha swamiji ka paste Danta kanti mein bhi hoga. hamaa ghar mein bhi use karthe hain .mujhe kuch nahi hua hai.On the other side mera daanth dard ho raha hai aggravate nahi hua. Mere husband ko daant ka filling tha . hamesha enamel problem atha tha . abhi unka daanth bhi theek hai. aur thandi cheez khane ki baad takleef hothi thi, oh bhi chala gaya.Mera vishvas hai acharya balkrishna in sab ka khayal rakhthe hain.unko bataane ke ko koshish karenge.ek bar haridwar phone karenge tho patha chalega.

आपकी बात सही है, लेकिन राजीव भाई ने दुसरे विडियो में कहा है की पतंजलि योगपीठ की दन्तकान्ति में बहुत ही कम मात्रा में SLS है |
आपको दन्तकान्ति पसंद नहीं हो तो आप पतंजलि योगपीठ का दन्त मंजन प्रयोग करे |

अरे भाई राजीव भाई ने कहा था की हमारे toothpaste मे "ना के बराबर" SLS
होता है|
मेरी मामी डाबर मे रिसर्च साइंटिस्ट रह चुकी हैं. वे बताती हैं की SLS
सारे
toothpaste मे होता है. डाबर मे 1.8 % तक होता था जिसको घटा के 1.2 % कर
दिया
गया बाद मे| आप पाएँगे की डाबर toothpaste मे भी दन्त कान्ति के तरह कम
झाग बनता है | इसका मतलब ये है की बिना SLS के झाग बन ही नहीं सकता और
toothpaste जैसा कुछ बनाया ही नहीं जा सकता,
फिर भले कम डालो या ज्यादा| राजीव भाई हमेशा कहते रहे हैं की "colgate
में झाग बहुत बनता hai" ,
मतलब SLS बहुत ही ज्यादा डाला जाता है | डाबर और पतंजलि योगपीठ के
स्वदेशी मंजनों में कम होता है |

all patanjali products are par excellent.have full faith on baba
ramdevji. he never does anything which is harmful to any person.
recently i bought patanjali s musturd oil. when my mother smelled it
she said that it reminded her of her childhood days when her mother
used mustard oil .
whatever medicines of patanjali yogpeeth i use , i always take half of
the quantity prescribed as they ae soo pure n a bit GARAM also.
we must be grateful to baba ramdevji n sh balkrishan ji for their
efforts.

Please note that Swami Ramdevjee has mentioned several times in his Yog Sessions to use Dant-Kanti (Toothpaste) only once or, twice a week but Dan-Manjan (Toothpowder) everyday instead.

Most of the people are saying that product is good, just keep on using.
It is ok to trust Patanjali and Babaji, but blind faith is not the right way to go.
It is a fact that products are carrying the same POISONOUS ingredients that Rajiv ji have always spoken against.

Everyone must speak. We want to have natural products only, otherwise why shouldn't we buy cheaper products available off the shelf.

its ok in shampoo.It should be avoided in paste but its there also.Even if you are aware of Emulsifiers added in eatable items like biscuits,chocolates etc most are extracted from animals like pig,donkey,dogs even gau mata (for more detail visit here http://www.food-info.net/uk/qa/qa-fi45.htm).I found this E-471,1100 are added in patanjali biscuits too.I have totally stopped to eat any packaged food now.

The point is shouldn't all the products from Patanjali based on Ayurveda, and thus natural herbs ? Why even a pinch of synthetic chemicals ?
I have conveyed this to the vendor I got the products from, and he was surprised too, which itself is more surprising because they must know the ingredients.
I may myself call Patanjali and ask about this, and if you or other friends can rope in some authority, it would be good.

I too am a fan of Baba Ramdev and Patanjali products. But what I have observed is, for small manufacturers, Patanjali is giving its brand name to sell in the market. We need to escalate this to Baba Ramdev and necessary actions should be taken.

it happens in every field.
No company has the capacity to manfacture each & every product, so they off load that prodcut to small vendors, though quality of the product is not compromised.
We shall trust the managent of patanjali, the are well qualified professionals they know very well how to run the company.
As far as chemicals are used in products of daily use, its the product requirement, without using those harmful chemicals you cant make a shampoo or soap.

Thanks to those who have shared the concern.
Assuming that you guys have already seen the image I shared earlier (attached again this time), I would like to add two things.
1. There are actually two types of holograms in use from what I have noticed. One is by the name of Patanjali Ayurveda and the other Divya Pharmacy. The left side Kesh Kanti bottle in the attached image with natural ingredients, has a Patanjali hologram. But the right side bottle with all chemical ingredients does NOT have any hologram.
2. I shared this concern with my vendor who told me that he had a talk with Patanjali at Haridwar, and that even the older (left side) bottle contains ALL CHEMICAL ingredients. It is only when US govt. Food and Drug Administration department (FDA) asked all imported products to mention all ingredients in detail, that this elaborate list came into being. If the vendor is to be believed, then Patanjali products were using chemical ingredients all along, but only listing them now, because of FDA regulations.
As Ravi Karatagi ji mentioned in the message above, it could be that manufacturers who might be producing these products on behalf of Patanjali/Divya are using chemical ingredients with/without the knowledge of Patanjali. In any case, this needs to be thoroughly scrutinized because Patanjali name is related to Ayurveda and thus herbal products. There is no room for harmful chemicals in these products.

We are using patanjali products considering them pure but now our confidance is shaken, It seems that to produce a product like tooth paste/biscuits etc some kind of harmful things will always be added whether written on packing or not. So the approach should be to discourage them and not producing them in patanjali in name swdeshi; otherwise people will have doubts and doubts and doubts ....

If shampoo cannot be manufactured without harmful chemicals, then stop manufacturing it under patanjali banner and promote Shikakai or some other natural/herbal stuff, people are not dying without shampoo. And also, the quality of this shampoo has got reduced... they have started putting more water into it (probably to earn more profit) compared to earlier versions.
I am a staunch follower and admirer of Rajiv dixit. PYP had a very close relationship with Rajiv bhai, and they need to respect his views. If he condemns other products using sodium lauryl sulphate etc etc then PYP should stop promoting such products which uses it.

I have been staunch supporter of Bharat Swabhiman, but do not expect these kind of things. There is no need to offload manufacturing to other manufacturers and getting into any business, you will only lose credibility and public support if these kind of issues are brought up in Patanjali products.

i have used soap from khadi gram udyog also they do not mention the chemicals in it, but still they use chemicals, though quantity of chemicals seems to be very less.
you can try those products.
Though i am not an expert in the field of making shampoos & soaps but i know that without using chemicals its not possible to make a shampoo or soap if we dont want any chemical then we have the options like mulatani mitti, milk for cleansing our body.

I dont know Y they dont take in concern our suggestions,objections,requests and plans for Bharat Swabhiman.I never get reply from higher authority in any serious concern.We abuse to gandhi family as First Family,traitor,party high command as they only decide anything to do by congress by sitting in a room,isn't this here in Bharat Swabhiman.
just think if same thing is raised by media and congress which we are discussing as a precaution to avoid then no concern over that.

There is no soap available in market that in 100% chemical free. The base of soap has some basic chemicals for bonding it into a cake/soap form.
Although I agree that there is no need of Urea and Sodium Lauryl Sulphate in shampoo. You can find natural shampoos without these chemicals in market.
Regarding biscuits, same problem as soap. You cannot make biscuits that have shelf life of more than 3-4 days without using chemical/preservative agents.
Adding of certain chemicals is understandable if done in permissible safe limits for swadeshi andolan to provide alternative for MNC products, but adding Urea and Sodium Lauryl Sulphate and other known bad chemiclas to products should be avoided.

I appreciate all those who have spoken for completely natural products devoid of any harmful chemicals.
Some of the members have justified the usage of chemicals on the name of countering MNCs and being Swadeshi. I fail to understand what will we gain by becoming swadeshi if we are to swallow and apply harmful chemicals in the first place. Being swadeshi must also mean being healthy, because that is what Ayurveda is all about.
Although I am not a fan of USA, but I would like to thank FDA (Food and Drug Administration) whose regulations 'made' Patanjali declare the complete ingredient list. These products have been using all the chemicals without mentioning them, but when FDA imposed import restrictions (check link)
, then they had to write down the chemicals in detail. I happened to see older and newer labels together and hence suspicion arose. I would urge everyone to stand for safer products and request/encourage/force Patanjali/Divya to go natural.

I dont think you understand the problem here. Certain things cannot be made without chemicals. I ask you to find me one soap in market that is 100% chemical free. You need chemicals to bond oil and water together in soap. We have no natural alternatives to that! You can keep demanding you want this and that, but you fail to see if those products are commercially feasible or not.
In Ayurveda there is no soap/shampoo. We use mitti and gobar bhasma as soap. If you want a soap in form of a bar and not powder you will need chemicals. In Ayurveda we use dahi, shikakai extract, ritha extract, lime juice, etc to wash hair. These things are available in market but no one buys it. Everyone wants them in shampoo form. And this is why you need to add chemicals. But not dangerous chemicals like Urea and Sodium Lauryl Sulphate. Patanjali should remove those chemicals from their products.
In Ayurveda there is no biscuit. You need emulsifiers to make biscuit. You cannot make biscuit without emulsifiers. Find me one that doesnt have emulsifiers. No one is forcing you to eat biscuit. Even Baba tells to eat home cooked roti/papad instead of biscuits. These are made for people that just want to have biscuit no matter what. So instead of buying them from MNC, why not buy it from Swadeshi manufacturers?
I hope I have made myself clear and answered your doubts. But I am with you on Urea and Sodium Lauryl Sulphate issue. These must be removed IMMEDIATELY from Patanjali products.

Dear, I understand that each ingredient on earth has a 'chemical' composition.
The whole point I and others are making is about 'harmful chemicals' and synthetic ones as opposed to natural ingredients.
Good to know that you are also against them.
After this discussion, I got a chance to visit the nearest Natural/Organic store, and I took pictures of some soaps and shampoos that are completely sulphates and parabens free.
Why should I not buy these instead of Patanjali products ? In fact that is what I am perhaps going to do until Patanjali does something about current products.

The products that you have listed from Google Images do have base chemicals even though they are organic/vegan. Although they dont have harmful chemicals. Although I would like 100% synthetic chemical free products, I dont mind benign chemicals added to external use products. Again the key word here being benign chemicals that are not harmful like urea and sodium lauryl sulphate. I hope Patanjali can remove these chemicals ASAP.
I understand your valid concern, but since these products are not available in India, can you please tell me where can I find more natural products than Patanjali here in India? There are just a couple of shops in my city that sell so called natural/organic soap/shampoos. All their shampoos/soap have some chemical base, although the chemical base is not harmful.
Lets understand what is practical/feasible in the context of India and then judge. Although this doesnt mean we dont raise valid issues of harmful chemicals being added to Patanjali products.

If I read you correctly, you mean to say that although you would like no harmful chemicals, but if Patanjali is using those, you will still buy them on account of being Swadeshi. When you say you have no alternative in India, you are wrong. Himalaya products are completely SLS free.
This only means that Patanjali has been feeding the Swadesh with all those harmful chemicals all these years while there were other Swadeshi companies selling natural products.
And if you want to add that you don't have access to Himalaya products in your city, but Patanjali products are indeed available, then credit goes to Patanjali for distributing harmful chemicals to each and every household of Swadesh.
I have said it enough and would appreciate if everyone stand together in raising their voice against the use of harmful carcinogenic chemicals in Patanjali/Divya products. There are cheaper poisons available, if one were to buy poison only.

I dont think you read my replies. I have repeatedly said in my post that Patanjali should remove harmful chemicals like urea and sodium lauryl sulfate IMMEDIATELY. It seems debating with you is becoming moot.
Oh and Himalya products like its shampoos and soaps too have chemicals in them, but they are benign (harmless), just like Patanjali soaps. Have you even used Himalya products? You sound very less informed.

Dear, I agree that there is no point continuing the debate the way it is heading.
The debate is basically on the use of harmful chemicals (like SLS and Urea and Parabens etc), which Patanjali is using openly (or covertly).
In your first post, you recognized harm of toxic chemicals in Patanjali products, which I appreciated in my reply.
Therefore, if you (which you yourself said) are against the use of such chemicals, lets join hands else in making
Patanjali/Divya realize its grave mistake of spreading carcinogenics in Swadesh.
Otherwise, people have better options to chose from, both outside and within India.
In case no formal action is taken in near time, I think we shall take this to prominent media. I hope you will agree and support.

I have complained to my local Patanjali Seva kendra about this. In the meanwhile I use their regular shampoo (kesh kanti original) that does not have these chemicals. Only the newer ones seem to have the harmful ones.

Himalaya products are really good. We as family use their shampoo, oil,
soap, toothpaste, cream and herbal capsules like Ashvagandha, Triphala,
Neem, Meshshringhi to name a few. Been a happy user of Himalaya products since almost 3 years and prefer them a i have known them since 1987 though theyb had very restricted products back then.

Dear, you seem to have missed my first posts in which I shared that the 'original' shampoo also has SLS and Urea etc.
Patanali vendor only told me this. Now that FDA has laid out norms, the labels have become elaborated.
In India, no product says it contains these chemicals. It was only because of FDA that this mischief came into notice.
Patanjali is keeping the Swadeshi public in dark. Thank FDA that helped us know the truth.
Also want to let others know that my email has been blocked from direct mailing service, but so far I am able to post through the google group.
It will be no surprise that instead of taking action against the products, action is taken against me.

Om Narinder ji...Looks like you yourself havent seen the photo you posted :) Original shampoo in your first post has no harmful chemicals. I have told you before that Original is made by Patanjali itself. While the Milk Protein shampoo has the harmful chemicals listed. All these other shampoos (Milk Protein, Ritha, etc) are made by swadeshi partners and marketed by Patanjali.
Hopefully after complaints come in, Patanjali will either warn its partners about these harmful chemicals or choose better ones.
Looks like your emails are going out to the group just fine. Relax and stop blaming people before you even understand the issues.

Mr. Dhruv Sahni - I challenge you to prove that dant kanti toothpaste have "Sodium Lauryl Sulfate".... its having "Sodium bicarbonate" and that is also used in salt we use at home.

Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLES) is in the sampoo of patanjali which sells around 45-50 rupeees.
the Sampoo sold at 90 rupees does not mention SLESS in it.

But yes, the newer shampoos like Milk Protein and Reetha, that are made by swadeshi companies not Patanjali, but marketed under Patanjali brand certainly have Sodium Lauryl Sulphate. Patanjali should not give its brand name to swadeshi companies that do mischief like Videshi companies.

I am a biotechnologist and through my projects and experience I want to clarify the doubts being created with sodium lauryl sulphate. I am not working for patanjali and neither have any association with spiritual people. But I have high respect for Rajiv DIxit bhai and currently Baba Ramdev.
Sodium lauryl sulphate is a substitute for sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS) which is used for the disruption of cell membranes to extract enzymes or specifically important proteins from particular cells of an organism. This SDS also gives a negative charge to the enzyme (protein), this also creates foam which is removed later by other processes which I do not want to go into as its technical. When sodium lauryl sulphate is mixed with fluoride used in toothpastes , this SLS removes the high amount of fluoride in toothpastes so that fluoride doesn't create tooth cavities. Fluoride is very bad if ingested or absorbed by body because it reduces the absorption of iodine from food that we eat. People are misguided when doctors tell them absorption will only occur when injested and will get absorbed from only intestine , this is totally wrong. Absorption occurs when kept in mouth also, 30% carbohydrates that we eat through rice, jaggery (gur) are absorbed from mouth and rest 50-60% from intestine.
Main aur detail mein nahi jana chahta kyonki bahut technical chez hain jo aap agar laboratory mein kam kar chuke hain to aapko malum hoga en sab chizo ke bare mein. aap sab logo ko mein bataba chata hu ki baba ramdev jji khud kehte hain ki patanjali ke toothpate har din estemal na kare, hafte mein 2 ya adhik 3 bar, tooth powder ka estemal har din kar sakte hain lekin sirf ek bar. Aur ek chez mein batana chahta hu ki hamare pine, bhone, nahane ka jo pani hai usme fluoride aur chloride jaise zehar maujud hain. Ye shayad aap ko pata hoga. Mujhe ye pata chal mere pitaji se kyonke wo waste water industry mein kam kar chuke hain. Par wo mujhe batate hain ki uska matra kam hain aur estemal karne layak hain, par mujhe vishvas nahi hain kyon he matra ka setting goverment karvata hain aur mujhe kisi bhi government organisation pe bharosa nahi hain.
Lastly I would like to say I myself have been using fresh neem datun cut from my uncle's neem plant which is planted in his home. I do not use colgate, patanjali produts and neither dabur. I do not have cavities, no sensitivity and no other problems.

If Sodium Lauryl Sulphate is alright, then one should use any other toothpaste available off the counter, why bother for Patanjli products.
These type of studies exonerating such chemicals are sponsored by pharmaceutical companies anyhow.

nahi, me khud use kar raha hoon.pahle maine bhi dekha tha. nayi dantkanti me SODIUM LAUREL SULPHATE nahi hai.
jyadatar toothpaste me haddi ka chura(calcium phosphate) hota hai. magar dantkanti me ye nahi hai
it is 100% safe and herbal toothpaste
