Swamy meets Manmohan

 

The veteran political leader Subramanian Swamy met the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Friday in his chamber situated in the Parliament House.
 
 Mr Subramanian Swamy  expressed hope in the meeting with Prime Minister that those guilty in 2G scam will be punished, he said talking to reporters after the meeting.
 
Mr Swamy said that the Prime Minister is his old friend and they know each other for last 40 years.When asked as to why did he raise questions on the PM if he call manmohan Singh as personal friend, Mr Swamy said that he(Swami) felt that Prime Minister's instructions were not being followed.
 
Manmohan Singh may be an economist but he is not an expert on legal matters. The questions I raised were crucial. If now the 2G licence award is not cancelled and if the guilty is not punished , who would be responsible,asked Mr Swamy.
 
Talking about his responsibility Mr Swamy said that as an opposition leader it is his job to raise questions and being the Prime Minister of the country it the responsibility of Manmohan Singh to address them.
