A street was named after legendary actor and filmmaker Raj Kapoor in the
presence of his family in Brampton, Canada.

 

The street naming ceremony was permitted and promoted by the mayor of
Brampton, Susan Fennell, who unveiled the placard of the street name at
the Rose Theatre in Brampton.

 

Actor brothers Randhir, Rishi and Rajiv Kapoor took the lead as the
mayor unveiled the name `Raj Kapoor Crescent' for a road in the
city. The three brothers thanked the city's people and promised that
they are going to make a film soon under the banner of Raj Kapoor.
