Sathya Sai Trust: Clamour for transparency
In Sathya Sai Baba's Puttaparthy, things are changing. Following the
spiritual leader's death, there are serious doubts about financial
irregularities in the way the enormously rich Sri Sathya Sai Central
Trust is functioning, with police even questioning two trust members -
something unheard of in the past. At a public meeting held in Hanuman
Temple today, NGOs and representatives of various political parties
talked of the need for clarity on the activities of the trust.
