in one of the attached photos here, we see my father Sri H Shama Bhat doing the daily pooja at our then place there in Nanthoor, Mangalore, India. He learnt memorized the mantras by-heart after his retirement and did the daily worship pooja while staying at home, and his view during earlier younger years (like when we were growing up) was that his father our grandfather took care of all the family traditions type responsibilities in the village house, poojas etc included, and we did not have to do it separately in the rented house in the city, while he focused more on his work and family needs like our education etc, and was strongly connected to the native village, and he had hoped to move back to the village after his retirement (but it did not turn out that way, and had to be re-assessed).
In other photos, we see my younger brothers Udaya Bhanu H and Ravi Bhat H doing the daily pooja in our Nanthoor house (perhaps this was after our father passed away when doing the daily pooja responsibility fell on the rest of the family, Rajendra and mother also involved in that role), and later on when our brother Rajendra was in charge of it, he did that for many years in Nanthoor, and when he moved to Arsikere in Hassan district, Karnataka, managing their book store they bought there, he was doing the daily pooja there, having taken the family worship mane dEvaru pooja samagri there with him,

I was fired from good job as scientist engineer from AT&T Bell Labs in 1992, causing big shock to family, wife, children, siblings, others, and not able to find another job at same level, wife worked, although in shock, initially was targeted also, but later promoted, children also were targeted, and made to suffer, same with my brothers and sisters in India, but we have faced the challenges and trying to move forward in positive ways YES, OUR CHILDREN SUFFERED, WERE TARGETED, YESAlthough in severe shock and great stress, we have faced the challenges and moved forward crossing the barriers biases impediments etc that came before us, it was tough, not easy, for my wife and sons and the others also I brought up my two sons Kaviraj and Shilpi as future presidents of usa, with that attitude/ outlook/ mindset, supporting and encouraging the leadership nature already in them. They are born in usa, grew up in usa and consider themselves as Americans. No, not really. You have to ask around there, including your bride and her side of family, friends, relatives, also on your side. And, moreover, it is not necessary to spend a lot of money for it. I think you can even do it within a thousand or a few thousand rupees, if it comes to that, like doing it in a temple with a priest only or in registered way only, etc without having to spend much on new clothes, arrangements, food etc There are also various organizations, temples which help the poor in such situations. Anyways, how much are you planning to spend (i am just curious)???? If it is a lot, you may have to revise that as per your affordability and talk to your bride and her side about it. Forget about what the big rich or famous people are spending, (let them, they have the money, and if they want to put it back into the economy in a not harmful way, it is okay, and those invited to attend or participate can enjoy, for others it is just a piece of news.
