I never found a job at the same or similar level after being terminated in 1992 (with 1-month salary). Initially nothing, except the $1000 unemployment check for a year, later worked in several part-time or temporary jobs, most of them in the college teaching area as part-time faculty professionally happy with it, but it was only pocket money, and the last one ended in 2013. Our sons also had to struggle with finding jobs and continuing in them, and younger son changed his field from BS in Mechanical Engineering at Drexel to BS in Food Science Fermentation Technology in OSU Corvallis OR, and is working in Portland OR. He should have been in much higher better paying level now, and all these years. Our elder son Kaviraj struggled with no or very small contract type projects for first two years after graduating with Bachelor of Music in music production engineering and music business from Berklee College of Music in Boston, but later did well and rose to Executive level positions. But now he is laid off for 2+ years, living with us to save expenses, while exploring possibilities, So, basically, it is my wife's salary taking care of us all these years.
