also, thanks for the suggestion with shree Gopala, I will do that, did not think about it before. (and, yeah, I learned to be less stingy with dakshina, donation to temple etc from my elder brother keshava prasada years ago, still it needs reminding now and then....... ha hha haaaa......!!!!),

it was good talking to you on the phone today. dr srisailam here in new jersey had given me your nymber and suggested that I talk to you regarding our search of suitable brides for our two sons kavi and shilpi..

btw, my elder brother keshava Prasad halemane and his wife vijayalakshmi were in Pittsburgh for about six years or so, from about 1978 to about 1984, as phd student at CMU and then worked at Westinghouse.

they used to come to the temple there regularly, they knew shree chennarasappa and family, they were also somewhat associated with the chinmaya mission, swami dayananda initially, then swami chinmayananda etc, later they moved to new jersey, then to Maryland and afterwards returned to india in 1989.

 

as I have mentioned over the phone, we are exploring for suitable brides for both our sons kavi and shilpi, and I am emailing photos and other info here to you.

(we did their upanyana under guidance of shree Krishna bhattar as priest -- photos below also).

(from india or here or elsewhere, does not matter. these days in the age of internet, there is not much culture gap, and adjustment, language etc are not hard, if both girl and boy are willing and interested, and if parental support is also there, in my opinion  -- and often there is confusion among parents as well, in addition to any with boys and girls, perhaps). 

basically the boy and the girl have to agree, and, get married, and be together afterwards, we are just facilitating, helping in the process. that's the approach we are taking.
