Nirmalji,

you asked me to write an article on the matrimonial issues.

The time was short, but as it is very important, I sat tonight for several hours, and finished the article.

It is attached herewith.

Initially I was thinking about doing a joint article with me, Dr MG Prasad and Dr S Yegnasubramanian, as they could have contributed very significantly as to what the shaastras say about various issues and types of marriages.

Perhaps, we may do that as another article at a future date, assuming there is continuing interest.

I am hoping this article can now serve as a starting point for the discussion so that WBF can start the process on the matrimonial initiative.

Also, I hope Dr Yegnasubramanian and Dr MG Prasad are able to fput together a few people to say some veda mantras (they can do themselves also).

I know you are very busy, and working very hard. Thanks for your time.
