Me: ..And false accusations are even made by individuals who may justify it to themselves and those around them in the name of justifiable "politics" for manufacturing perceptions for helping in their agendas, (and I have seen it happen, with our temple efforts in New Jersey, during HTCS-HATCC merger talks, with people pushing for such a goal, to eliminate HATCC, to help the agenda of HTCS by deliberately bad-mouthing HATCC, its leaders, objectives etc, even mis-representations, false accusations also, back in 1990-91, early 1990s timeframe. The Indian American community here has come a long way since then; much transformation has happened.  

Our temple effort, with its own community-internal & external politics, here in New Jersey, and its influence & impacts, here and beyond, including in USA, India, worldwide, on Hindus, Indians, as well as others, all people, has been pivotal, served as turning point, transformation catalyst, since 1987, and has opened up new ways, new possibilities, new views, new attitudes, new approaches for doing things, for life and living !!! And, one might add, for good & bad, whether you like it or not, but it is kind of inevitable, no other choice so to say, and is for Truth & Dharma, natural progress.

Thirumala Raya Halemane, maybe your observations are correct. But we need to deep drive to find the truth. Indian history is altered by many distortarians we assume as historians. They were with a single motive to diminish Sanatan pride and glorify the invaders. Else see it's very little known King Ashoka was converted to Buddhism much before he ascended the throne killing or imprisoning his elders like Aurangzeb did centuries later. The massacre of Kalinga was not by Sanatan Ashoka but by Buddhist Ashoka, and that also not all Buddhism is in the cause of influence, but the Buddhism of Afghanistan being the influence.

As my Supervisor Dr T K Srinivas at AT&T Bell Labs mentioned, in the months leading to my being fired from my job there, "Perception is More Important than Reality". I had asked him what was going on, like they are working on my patent (his answer = No), he had also said "why you look like that?", "you must be under lots of stress". "what you are is what matters, not what your intention" etc during those days. His responses, good real info, & ALL HELP there deeply crucial, hugely helpful, to analyze, to understand our situation, to move forward. He helped greatly with HATCC temple efforts also. My huge gratitude to him.

Okay, sari, naavu avara maneyalli iddaddu, Shree Ramakrishna Bhatta Shankaralinga family, avara pourOhitya, namma thandeyavara bojja in 1987, varshaantha in 1988. avara thandeyavaroo iddaru in 1987. and of course, he had arranged for all the other priests needed etc, for all our needs. It was because of the recommendation of my sister Usha Kiran's father-in-law (who also kindly came with us, helped us) Shree Ammankallu Shankara Bhat (in Kasaragod district) that we contacted them. went there. It all worked out very well, overall, I think.

Dear Shriram Sir, ee old photo (from 1987 May) dalli yaaru goththaayita ??? avaru 101 year old Vedamoorthi Seetharama Bhat Shankaralinga (or is it Panchalinga in the name, swalpa confusion, I must have written it wrongly like this on the slide, I happened to see in last few days  and scanned it now, sorry about my mistake) and famiy members, photo taken at their house in Gokarna when we were staying there for two days or so in connection with my father's passing away bojja religious events that we performed with the priestly services help from his son Shree Ramakrishna Bhat Shankaralinga. We were doing it as per the good advice and guidance from my sister Usha Kiran.s father-in-law Ammankallu Shankara Bhat who also came there with us). in the old photo here, from 1987 May, we see the elder priest in the household there, the101-years old Shree Vedamoorthi Seetharama Bhat Shankaralinga with family members. This photo was taken at their house in Gokarna, India when we were staying there for two days or so, in connection with my father's passing away bojja religious events that we performed with the priestly services help from his son Shree Ramakrishna Bhat Shankaralinga and others associated. We were doing the ceremonies there in holy place Gokarna as per the good advice and guidance from my sister Usha Kiran's father-in-law Shree Ammankallu Shankara Bhat who also came there with us.
