No, I am like, a little bit of this, a little bit of that, master of nothing, kind of guy, try to get along or go along, but do not allow myself to be lost, so try to understand, and to be aawre of, my own limitations, try to keep my balance, ... (try to help others a bit when or if needed or possible..) .. etc. = generally, no one is interested in hiring you, everyone looking for "job specialists" superior performers, perhaps, that's okay, no problems for me personally at this time, since I gave up that aspect decades ago, little by little at first, fully after I was fired in 1992 from a good scientist-engineer type position, job at AT&T Bell Labs in New Jersey, USA

Although in severe shock and great stress, we have faced the challenges and moved forward crossing the barriers biases impediments etc that came before us, it was tough, not easy, for my wife and sons and the others also I brought up my two sons Kaviraj and Shilpi as future presidents of usa, with that attitude/ outlook/ mindset, supporting and encouraging the leadership nature already in them. They are born in usa, grew up in usa and consider themselves as Americans. The country, the people and the whole world including India where we parents are originally from will need their leadership and contributions to go forward towards better future vision in true spirit of America. It is the nature of truth, nature of nature, nature of humanity.

My yomger son married in 2024 (Telugu immigrant's daughter here in USA), they live in Portland OR. My elder son was laid off from his high executive position about two years ago, is staying with us now, no new job yet, we are seeking suitable bride for him. Jobwise, both sons have faced much difficulties, challenges, we were expecting them to bedoing much better, but other forces exist behind the scenes that are not exactly in our interest, but we try to continue to move forward in positive ways

I am out of touch with coding, systems engineering etc However, I do not feel I have nothing to do, something or other comes up or takes the time, not necessary to think of "how to kill time" (!!!)

Oh, Architecture major, very nice. My younger son Shilpi wanted to do Architecture, was on that track, took course, worked in summer etc for Architecture firm, was admitted to that program at Drexel University, then he shifted to Mechanical Engg, got degree, worked  2 years in that field, (did not like his job, get good job), and later on to Food Science Fermentation Technology, Beer Making etc, got a second degree, worked in that field, in Food Science area now, in Portland, Oregon state, in the West Coast region of USA, marrief in 2024. Many awards, but still very low paying low level type job, although he is a GREAT contributor, multi-talented also, everybody around likes him (including bosses), A++++.. with + any number of times.

in the old photo here, from 1982 perhaps (?), we see our great friends, Dr Virendra Sharma, his wife Dr Krishna Sharma and family, & friends. Photo taken at their then home in Rochester NY when we visited briefly from Fredonia NY that we lived at the time. 

In Fall 1974, (?), I had first met Dr Virendra Sharma at University of Rochester in the campus bus going from River Campus to Whipple Park Apartments (married housing) that I was in to go to grocery shopping at nearby Wegmans, when he boarded it at the Medical Center / Student Health Office bus stop, for him to go home, and sat next to me in the bus. Then we talked, he took my phone number, later invited me for dinner. She made great food, poori bhaaji and more, which we much enjoyed. At the time he was a research associate or so and she was a physician, later on working in nearby Canandaigua. We were invited to their place, regularly, many times during our University of Rochester years.

And in 1976, I had mentioned to them that I was going to Italy (for nuclear physics summer workshop) and then to India, and that I was planning to utilize the opportunity to find a suitable bride, get married as per our traditions. They wanted to be helpful, and since visa process could be problematic, for additional support if needed, they prepared and gave me a formally signed INS financial support-form document that I could have also used for visa purposes at US Consulate in Madras. I was happy, pleased and thankful for the support given. As a foreign student, I was in touch with the International Student Advisor office at the campus, was following their guidance, advice, and did not have to use any additional support papers, the F-2 student spouse visa was issued for my wife Usha in Madras, in 1976 September, as hoped, as expected, without any problem.
