Dear Raya,

I’m pleased to personally confirm that your Executive Positioning Brief has been formally submitted to the IBM Recruitment Team and is now under internal review.

I want to be very clear and transparent with you: this document reflects the exact executive-standard framework requested by IBM for senior and Managing Director–level evaluation. It aligns not only with their stated criteria, but with the implicit decision-making lens used by executive hiring committees when assessing enterprise leadership readiness, scale of impact, and long-term strategic value.

The positioning, narrative strength, and strategic articulation of your leadership impact are exceptionally well-calibrated to how value is evaluated at this level. The brief communicates authority without overstatement, confidence without excess, and scope without ambiguity — a balance that is both difficult to achieve and highly respected in internal review processes.

What stands out in particular is the precision and intentionality of the messaging. Your client strategy, enterprise influence, and leadership scope are framed in a way that anticipates committee-level questions before they are asked. This significantly reduces the likelihood of follow-up clarification requests, minimizes revision cycles, and supports a streamlined and favorable review trajectory. That level of foresight and executive maturity is uncommon and materially strengthens how your profile is received.

From a recruiter’s perspective, this is a board-ready document: concise, credible, and strategically composed to elevate perception while remaining fully authentic to your experience and track record. It clearly signals readiness for responsibility at scale, sound judgment, and an ability to operate effectively within complex, matrixed enterprise environments.

Equally important, the brief demonstrates consistency between narrative, substance, and outcomes — reinforcing trust in your leadership story. It positions you not simply as a strong candidate, but as a low-risk, high-confidence executive consideration, which is precisely how senior leaders are advanced through final-stage review.

As part of the process, the IBM team may request brief input from a specialist to further highlight your leadership impact. Your engagement here can make a meaningful difference and further strengthen your candidacy.

At this stage, there is nothing further required from you. Your materials are complete, compelling, and submitted in their strongest possible form. I will remain closely connected with the IBM team and will keep you informed as your profile progresses through the final assessment queue.

It has genuinely been a pleasure supporting a process that has been handled with such professionalism, clarity, and attention to detail. The quality of your engagement and preparation has made this a particularly strong and well-executed submission.

Warm regards,

Greetings Raya,

I hope this message finds you well.

I wanted to follow up thoughtfully, not simply to reconnect, but to be intentional about where things stand. I’ve continued to reflect on our earlier discussion, and the alignment we identified still feels meaningful — particularly in terms of scope, impact, and long-term opportunity.

This role is less about filling a position and more about bringing in leadership that can drive results, contribute from day one, and help shape what comes next. Based on our conversation, your experience and perspective continue to stand out as a strong fit within that context.

As timelines are moving forward, it would be helpful to understand your current level of interest. When you see this message, I’d appreciate a brief reply — whether you’re interested in continuing the conversation or if your priorities have shifted. Either is completely understood; clarity simply allows us to proceed respectfully and efficiently.

Thank you again for your time and professionalism. I truly value the dialogue we’ve had so far and look forward to hearing from you.

Dear Raya,

It is very nice to hear from you as well, and thank you for sharing your thoughts so openly.

I truly appreciate the way you have reflected on this, especially your willingness to consider it as one more meaningful effort rather than viewing it with hesitation or regret later. That openness itself is real progress, and it matters.

I completely understand your perspective, particularly given the many efforts made over the years and the mixed results that can sometimes feel “as expected.” Even so, choosing to strengthen and enhance your profile presentation now can be seen as a proactive step—one taken thoughtfully, with clarity, and without surprises. At the very least, it allows us to move forward knowing that this option was genuinely explored with intention.

There is no pressure; only the aim of supporting positive forward movement in the most practical and constructive way possible. I’m glad we’re able to have this conversation openly and realistically, and I appreciate the trust that comes with it.

Looking forward to continuing from here, one step at a time.

Dear Thirumala,

Thank you for your thoughtful message. I truly appreciate the careful consideration you’ve given to this decision, and I agree with your conclusion — strengthening your profile presentation now is far better than looking back later and wishing an additional step had been taken.

What we are doing here is not simply “another attempt.”
This is a strategic enhancement of how your experience is presented — ensuring your profile clearly communicates value, relevance, and forward movement in today’s market. This is how the same experience can begin to produce different and better outcomes.

I have now sent the invoice to your email address.
Please kindly check your inbox (and spam folder if needed), review it, and proceed with the payment.

Once payment is completed, kindly send me a screenshot of the confirmation so I can activate your project immediately and begin working on your profile without delay.

This step ensures that your efforts are supported by a strong and professionally positioned presentation — so that you can move forward knowing you made a deliberate and well-considered choice.

I look forward to your confirmation so we can get started on your project right away.

Yes, Venmo works for me also, I have been
using it for some years now for sending money to
my sons Kaviraj & Shilpi, as per their recommendation,
as the preferred method, instead of sending checks
like I used to (my younger son Shilpi, being very busy,
could forget about depositing it, so he recommended
that I use Venmo !!!). No problem, I have used it for
others also, I usually use American Express credit card
for purchases.

Dear Dr. Raya,

Thank you very much for your kind message. I’m truly glad to hear that our recent exchange felt positive and reassuring to you, and I appreciate your readiness to move forward.

Regarding payment, I wanted to let you know that Venmo is not currently available on our end. To ensure clarity, proper documentation, and ease for both sides, we recommend proceeding via a formal invoice, which is a standard and secure method and works very well for this type of engagement.

Once the invoice is issued, you will be able to complete payment conveniently using your preferred payment option, including credit card. This also ensures everything is properly recorded and transparent.

If that works for you, I will go ahead and arrange for the invoice to be sent to you with the full details so we can begin promptly.

Thank you again for your trust and your thoughtful communication. I look forward to working with you.
