Me: My North Indian experiences/ travels very very limited
Me: I have been to Chandigarh, was there for a month in 1970, summer school for National Science Talent Scholarship students when I was in BSc Hons class, (St Josephโs College, Bangalore) they took us to visit Bhakra Nangal dam, Simla & outskirts, Kulu (?) from there, I traveled/ passed through New Delhi (saw a few places there in half a day), while coming from Mangalore in the south.
Me: We had gone up, the bus took us, to a fairly high mountain region in Manali/ Kulu and we could see some snow covered mountains that were far away from there, so we can say I saw the Himalayas... ha hha haaaa... ๐ (this was in 1970, so tourism in India was at a very different level perhaps...)

Me: Thanks very much Smt Ramalakshmi ๐๐๐โค๏ธ๐น By the way I or my father or fatherโs friend had written to their relative in New Delhi and he had helped me there, came to train station, took me around in his scooter, ate at his place etc ... a very nice madhwa ShivaLLi Brahmin gentleman from Udupi area (my father was working in Udupi then) and another (chemistry?) lecturer/ professor from KREC Surathkal (he had started or was editor of a Kannada science magazine, that had then become famous, also my elder brother was studying there at Surathkal near Mangalore) also happened to be attending some other conference/ workshop there at Punjab University and I met him there and also he took an interest to teach me yoga so I did that for a few days going to his room in the morning (not many = motivation lacking in me, also his workshop and stay there ended maybe), ... from old memories ...
Me: No. I have done it like once in a while.. very rarely though... again (while I do have lots of respect for those practices) lack of motivation we can say...
Me: No. Largely unemployed/ unable to find job (except for some short time or part-time type) since 1992 when they fired me from AT&T Bell Labs... profession is teaching and scientist/ engineer / professor type...
