ಹರುಷದಲಿ ಜ್ಞಾನವನು ಮಿಂಚಿಸಿದ ಮನೋಹರವದು ಬೇಸರವೇಕೆ

ತುಸು ಸಮಯವೇರಲು ದಿನಕರನ ಬಿಂಬ ಎದ್ದೆದ್ದು ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದಾಗ
ಅಬ್ಬಬ್ಬಾ ಆ ದ್ಋಷ್ಟಿಯ ತೀವ್ರತೆಯೇ ಎಂಥಾ ದ್ಋಢ ಅನುಭವವೇ
ಸಾಕು ಸಾಕಪ್ಪ ಸಾಕು ಸಾಕಪ್ಪ
ಮನಸ್ಸು ಘಟ್ಟಿ ಪಂಚೇಂದ್ರಿಯಗಳೂ ಅದೇ ಕಡೇ
ಇನ್ಯಾಕೆ ಕನ್ಫ್ಯೂಷನ್ ಕಸಿವಿಸಿ ತಲೆಬೆರಕೆ ಅಧೈರ್ಯ
ಬೆಳಕೇರಿದಾಗ ಮಾಯವಾಯಿತು ಕತ್ತಲಿನ ಕಷ್ಟ
ಲಘು ಮೋಡವೇ ಘನ ಬಂಗಾರವಾಗಿತ್ತು ಕಾಣಿಸದ ಪರದೆಯಲ್ಲ

Dr Thirumala Raya Halemane was born and brought up initially in village near Kumbla in Kasaragod district (now in Kerala state) of TuLunaaDu region. His mother tongue is Kannada (Haveeka version), While in high school, also later, he has written poems & articles, also given talks, in Kannada language. Initially I wrote this poem as my hearty warm response poem for the beautiful poem by DR K R S MURTHY
"ಶ್ರೀ ಮೂರ್ತಿ ಅವರೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಚಂದದ ಪದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಈ ತರ ಒಂದು ಬರೆದೆ , ಬರೆದು ಆನಂದವಾಯಿತು", I said. It had the title "ಅರುಣೋದಯದಲಿ ಕಾಣುವ ಸೊಬಗು, ಘನ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಪರದೆ", dated 2025 December 17. Now I have re-visited it making small changes and given it a new title, but the spirit and content remain the same.

ಬೇಸರ ತುಂಬಿದ ಮುತ್ಸಂಜೆಯಲಿ ಮಂದ ಗಾಳಿ ತಂದ ತುಸು ಹಾಯಿಯಂತೆ

ಬೆಳಕಾಗಿ ಬಂದು ಪಟಪಟನೆ ಎದ್ದು ದಿನವ ಕಾತರದಿ ನೋಡುವನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆ
ಮುದುರಿದ ಜೀವಕ್ಕೆ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ತು ಮಿಂಚು ಹೊಡಿಸಿ ಚಕಚಕಿತ ಮಾನವನಾಗಿಸಿದೆ
ಮೋಡ ಕವಿದ ಸಂಜೆ ಇದ್ದಕ್ಕಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಕೆಂಪೇರಿದ ಆಗಸದ ಚಿತ್ತಾರ ಮೂಡಿಬಂದತೆ
