[COPY] Gun violence in America.Words by Garsha Vazirian, slightly revised for improved readability.
In the shattered aftermath of Charlie Kirk's assassination, America confronts a reflection fractured by its own actions. Gun violence and the powerful gun lobby create a labyrinth where chaos reigns, echoing William Butler Yeats' imagery in "The Second Coming," depicting a world spiraling out of control. Unraveling into chaos. Charlie wasn’t an outlier; he embodied the pro-establishment Christian Right, turning Point USA into a $100 million powerhouse that energized young conservatives in support of Trump. On September 10, at Utah Valley University, chaos broke out when a sniper's bullet hit a 31-year-old conservative figure during a debate. The shot struck his neck from 200 yards away, leaving him collapsed in front of a stunned audience. American politics has reached a concerning point in its history, defined by unrest and violence where bullets take precedence over ballots, and conflicts are addressed through surveillance, force, and deportation. There’s no denying he supported a genocidal regime, but he had begun to distance himself due to the U.S. war with Iran and the extremism of Netanyahu and his government, which seemed to be anticipating doomsday. This murder marks a national turning point, not just because of the victim, but because it underscores the deep-rooted hatred toward people of color and certain faiths. Was Charlie criticized for inciting hate through his preaching? "Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world," Yeats warned, as America's blood-dimmed tide keeps rising. Take a look at the latest statistics on gun violence in the USA over the past 72 hours at the link below: https://www.gunviolencearchive.org/last-72-hours A terrifying finale to last three days of relentless gun violence. Weeks ago, Minnesota’s former Democratic Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband were tragically killed by a committed evangelical extremist. Luigi Mangione has been accused of murdering UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. These kinds of incidents sadly keep happening. According to Al Jazeera, the number of school shootings in the U.S. in 2025 varied widely, ranging from 8 to 146 depending on the database used. It’s not just raining—it’s pouring—a relentless storm of tragedy marked by countless incidents of gun violence since the beginning of the year. Hatred is so widespread that Fuentes labels those celebrating Kirk's death as "pure evil," insisting they "must be defeated... eradicated" and are unfit for society. Fox News' Jesse Watters fervently vows, "We’re goanna avenge Charlie’s death," singling out politicians and the media as "rats." President Donald Trump, steadfast in his stance, accuses "vicious" left-wing radicals, fueling calls for a new COINTELPRO: employing Palantir's predictive policing, AI technology, digital sabotage, and legal strategies to suppress opposition under the guise of combating "domestic terror." We’re now in the age of the “Intelligence Industrial Complex” war, where social media amplifies malice and propaganda. Platforms like Reddit, Bluesky, and X are filled with extreme calls to action, echoing back to the days of the KKK and Jim Crow era. America is facing the consequences of long-sown discord. In these bleak times, hope feels like a naive pursuit. Political violence, once unleashed, becomes an unstoppable force, consuming everything in its way. It’s impossible to reverse the damage, and the nation seems to be spiraling toward chaos with no rescue in sight. The ominous beast creeps forward, not toward Jerusalem or Bethlehem, but into the heart of America—thriving on division, ethnic tensions, and a merciless cycle of violence that cares nothing for faith or humanity. The value of human life and humanity has completely disappeared. I'll conclude with a quote from Imam Ali (as): “And be aware that people fall under one of two categories: they are either your brother and sister in faith, or they are your brother and sister in humanity.” ―Imam Ali bin Abu Taleb.
