It is a very good question you have asked, and, the only answer I am able to give is he has not found the right life partner or spouse yet. He and his then girlfriend, classmate (in Berkeley College of Music, Boston MA), (very nice Jewish girl, we parents did not object, we allowed and respected the children's wishes, as is common here also) were together for a few years, living in same house in LA area in California for about two years after college graduation also, but then they split, (this is also very common here, relationships do not always work out for long) and focused on their jobs / careers from what we see, and ignored the personal part of life (many in this situation also in USA). His career was going well, but two years ago, he got laid off from his good high Executive position good salary Vice President & General Manager at iHeartRadio in New York City when that company went thru financial trouble & re-structuring. So he then moved home and living with us.

The total IMPACT is BIG, HUGE, directly & indirectly, and we could not have predicted it, also it has enormous intangible value, not just tangibles, and that is for Indians as well as for others. Yes, and the world situation is like that!!!, meaning, everyone needs to become more aware of the times, of the social etc environment we are in, and how to navigate it for our own survival and progress, keeping in mind possible consequences of all our actions and inactions, including in the immediate realm, in spiritual realm also, paapa-puNya-karma-dharma etc all involved, not just popularity, politics, economics etc. It is a pleasure to note that our youth, youngsters are also taking interest in these issues, and voicing their opinions regarding what is best, what consequences etc, utilizing their freedom to speak, making their presence felt, their concerns expressed etc as is happening in this video clip. The better understanding and higher awareness will hopefully "wake-up" people and protect them and against the forces and tendencies for evil agendas, that can be hidden and invisible or deceptive or bad masquerading as good, etc. Thanks for the forward.

she is saying like all mothers tell their children "paraspara jagaLa maaDuvudu oLLeyadalla", "it is not good to fight each other", an important motherly message, and something also advanced and preached by Mahatma Gandhi, she knows from the common knowledge about him as the leader big boss during freedom struggle, from the prevailing buzz about him. that is very nice. Jai maathrthwa. Jai motherhood. Indian Civilization gives motherhood lots of due respect and emphasis, in culture, in religions, in festivities, in philosophy etc. It is something to be proud of, to be appreciated, not to be looked down upon or feel ashamed about or feel inferior regarding our heritage and our history that was influenced by it.

Not good, maths teacher in school beating children students severely as punishment. It is a SCARING tactic for enforcing obedience, and is a bad wrong thing Indians learned and adopted from their masters during colonial times and has continued, in schools, in homes, in society, in communities, and people need to get better aware and better educated about it. Enforcing that type of discipline and submission usually is not helpful at all, modern psychologists will also tell this. In Indian culture, there is the notion of saama, daana, bhEda, danDa. That is first attempt should ne to explain nicely and make the child understand, next is giving some gift or inducement that will make it more attractive to the child to do better. The negative things of dividing (bhEda) and punishment (danDa) come only later, if the first two have failed after repeated good attempts for those. In other words, the child is to be treated with CARE, LOVE, RESPECT, not to be looked down upon as a candidate for suppression or enslavement etc. Ragging in college hostels is also another bad habit Indians have learnt from the British colonial masters, and needs to be stopped. Incoming students can get traumatized if not knowing what to expect etc, not well-prepared for it. And i do not think it is hard to stop it. It may be less now than decades ago, RESOECT. RESPECT. RESPECT.
