(regarding Emperor Ashoka's character, place, role in Sanatana Hindu Dharma Civilization narrative, I think he does not fit quite well with dharma heritage, dharma traditions, but he was overly emphasized when the colonial rule ended, and even later by India and the West as representing Indian statehood, many glorification examples are there. This is not fully good enough for nature of sanatana hindu dharma, Ashoka was not fully in true raaja-dharma, it was not like raama rajya or what is in shastras, in ramayana, in mahabharatha etc. Just because he embraced pacifism later, ending the previous overly aggressive violent course does not elevate him that highly to dharma-hood iconic status)

I think it is very likely that King Ashoka was partially non-Indian, his over-aggressive extremely violent war campaigns, behaviors against people, including the Kalinga war suggests it too. perhaps his mother was of some Greek ancestry (Alexander's general's daughter or some such ???0, and it seems he spent his early young years in Northwestern India and it is very likely that he would have absorbed more of such traits from Afghanistan regions since some communities there have such closer to European style heritage, I think. YES. IT IS A VERY VERY IMPORTANT TOPIC FOR JEWS, CHRISTIANS, and, ISLAM also, and thus for ALL.

and gives a better picture of the feminine motherly quality.

Mary and baby Jesus is a lot more inspiring ideal, while the CROSS is a symbol of power, atrocity, suppression.

It is very pathetic that Christianity has held onto such undesirable non-divine or non-Godly symbolism for 2000 years,

which has resulted in the colonial excesses, in the holocaust against the Jews, and much more. It is time to get

over this problem, and issue, and for Christianity to develop in ways closer to the ways of God or divinity, which is not

Shree Murthy avarE, Yes, the video interview is more focussed, or highlighting, the possibility of abuse, of evil use of AI, which of course exists in various technologies, new and old, even very simple ones like a sharpened knife can be the object of such concerns. Strong belief in ideologies is also suggested, like in AGI Artificial General Intelligence, and without even understanding what Intelligence is, it is stated. Okay. Various ideologies can also be abused or can serve evil agendas, as has been seen in history with Communism, Nazism, Racism, Colonialism etc in the past. Certain power structures or centers of power and control and their associates etc were beneficiaries of such ideologies, although these were later reversed, and ended up eventually losing to better ideas, fortunately for the rest of us. And looking back, one can see that it is a dynamic state of affairs all the time, things or situations moving and changing, not a static kind of world we are in, and although those who already have made it or have won or are on the top, would be inclined to struggle and work and fight to keep it etc, but that is not a certainty, not assured for them or for their descendants. Yes, Shree Murthy avarE, it is a very interesting analysis, perspective, and has its fine merits regarding the geopolitical situation. and, the non-US powers, India, China, Russia etc may also be doing the same or similar, we can say. And the latent assumptions, not stated, in this analysis is that unpredictability itself (not being stuck to previous type predictabilities which can be taken advantage of, point made in the video) may lead to future desirable goals of these nations modifying their policies and postures into more helpful to the USA types, (because, it is the domineering super power it is the best in the world so far, it is where we live etc., let us say). As he also mentions, there is a wait and see factor, (policies can be changed etc.), and the results, may not all be predictable, from current perspectives, with scenarios always subject to various possible changes, everyone trying do their best, possibly, in pursuit of each one's responsibilities, objectives, subject to all their pluses and minuses, limitations, others helping, others hurting, etc. all included, as the world stage drama continues to unfold, always evolving, more visibly for us in recent times. The article is EXCELLENT, insights very deeply relevant. The confusions arise because Christianity, its various branches, also other religions, are “used”, including abuse, to serve the interests of the rulers, for power and control, for exacting better behaviors from the populations, (and of course nothing wrong with good and better behaviors), and almost always enters into the picture for divide-and-rule strategies, for targeting, enslaving and suppressing the “otherized” groups, peoples, tribes, nations, civilizations, families, individuals etc. If not, the Jesus message could apply to everyone, similar to God-messages in other religions. Sri Lanka was Dutch colony before it became British colony, and so a bit different history compared to India. Dutch were in Kerala was also for some years, on Kochi, I think, and a palace there has some history connection. Quite interesting ways for human psychology development, perhaps !!!
