Yes, this kind of info needs more, widespread coverage everywhere, worldwide, including in the Christian-spirited or other religious type countries, so that the average or common decent person everywhere knows and realizes how the missionaries, conversion activists etc go about it aggressively and violently (for body-mind-emotion-soul), in other cultures, and this should not be condoned or ignored. Okay, no problems. Kannada bhaashe chennaagi balle. Mother tongue is Kannada (Haveeka / Havyaka version) only. Actually I am also not very fluent in TuLu, but understand it fairly well, can converse to some extent with some effort and mixing Kannada or English. Similar situation for me with Hindi (which I studied, a bit extra also), TuLu picked up from surrounding environment as it is not taught in school etc. it was Kannada medium for us in school. From 8th Std English medium at Padua High School, Mangalore.

Ednad Village is our graama. Ichlampady Village is next to us there, and even there some houses are considered as Karinja houses I think, (not brahmin, bunts and bigger land owners compared to us)

Karinja dEvasthaana, haLaththu, was fully closed old temple from older times, in bad shape, when I was small, we never went inside there, but it was near our path to Soorambail for the bus (I think we had just peaked in a bit to see it at least once or so, and so we were awarethat it was there). It seems my great grandfather was a priest pooje maaDuva bhattru there for awhile, (nearby there, about 2 miles, also somewhat connected with our earlier generations is Kidoor Mahalimgeshwars temple, and the tantri there told me this info when I re-visited there in 2004, we were sitting together for the temple lunch oota after the dEvara bali onthe second day of the Maha Shivarathri festival). I think, they may have recently renovated and re-opened that temple, (perhaps it was being managed by the bunts family big landlords nearbY there, Ichlampady Village)
