Dear Shree Rudra Ji, hope you are doing well.
Okay. Thank You for your earlier comment about using the same symbol for both PurNa and Shunya.
It kind of influenced me to do something similar with Free Will and Fate / Destiny.
We can use them as equivalent, or the same. that is,
FREE WILL = FATE
Free Will is the same as Fate, and,
Fate is the same as Free Will
(even when people do not wish to admit it, argue against it).
Emphasizing the understanding how free will works, in the sense of its limitations etc.
and how it takes us towards our destiny or fate is what I used to say, and now I see that
this way of saying it, puts the argument correctly, succinctly, and in context.
It is a good way to lead the audience into better understanding.

Dear Sir Shree Dr Rudra garu Ji Sir avarugaLu,

It is a BEAUTIFUL response from you, regarding Free Will and Fate. Vaaa.. Fantastic.

Very Nice. Excellent. Fantastic, Exceptional, Outstanding. Unique. Genius. BEAUTIFUL.

As you would be aware, belief in Fate is one of the reasons why Indians, especially Hindus, are
looked down upon by the West, and by many so-called "educated" elites, who subscribe to
more of a Godless outlook, claiming science has or will eventually have all the answers.

We can call it Scientism, and it is not exactly the same as Science, and in fact it can also be viewed
as including "blind beliefs", "superstitions", using-in-reverse an argument they themselve use
against religious people.

Generally they view man as a higher being evolved from apes and lower level beings, from cellular
life, from simply matter itself, in the chain of evolution. That includes mind from matter, and,
consciousness as a cellular brain phenomenon etc, I think.

So, it is really hugely remarkable that you have placed cellular life at such a fundamental level,
deeply and with such strong irrefutable arguments. I am thoroughly impressed.

And, then, we can say that our Perception of having Free Will as an independent intrinsic
characteristic ability or quality in our lives is because of maaya which disconnects and obscures
the connection to the Divine Source God beyond all existence.

When I first came to University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, perhaps it was during my first year
there, In 1975 or so, an article(s) appeared in the major local newspaper there, written strongly
looking-down-upon Indian heritage because of the belief in fate etc. Naturally, our Indian foreign
students there were not happy with the contents of such writing, although seeing an India related
piece in a local newspaper made us a bit happy that something about India was being seen, as,
usually India was not of much interest to them.

Our Many Thanks, Regards, namaskaars-praNaams, and Best Wishes to
Sir Shree Dr Rudra Narasimham Rebbapragada garu avarugaLu Ji Sir
and all family, others helping, supporting, well-wishing etc, and to all.

Please Keep Up the Good Work.

Free Will vs Fate/Destiny/Vidhi/Daivam/Niyati

In my view, man is a created being. The Lord God Creator refuses to grant Free Will to man for He created a man as a multicellular organism; a social group of trillions of individual, building blocks called Cells. These cells enjoy autonomy or independence in performing their living functions. Man cannot directly rule or govern the functions of even one cell of his own human body. Man is literally trapped in his own body while he struggles to cope with his own mortal existence operated by the eternal law of Aging. Man simply exists as an Individual with Individuality without any further choice.

Man mistakenly believes that he is born Free and desires Free Will. The doctrine of Predestination claims that these choices or moves that man chooses in response to varying external circumstances are always predetermined. God creates those external circumstances knowing fully the kind of choice man makes to confront those external circumstances. Man is not really required to believe in God. But, man who recognizes that his life is like the board game called Chess and man is moving the pieces of the Chess game thinking of his Free Will while the Divine Player knows the choices man intends to make and creates those circumstances which evoke man’s responses or moves. Man who thinks like a King gets checkmated and loses the ability to make any further moves. So, the Indian tradition of Acharya Madhva preaches the Doctrine called Surrender and asks man to seek Refuge or “Saranu.” Even devotion or Bhakti is not good enough to get over the existential threats.

You can play the game called Chess until your Divine Opponent makes the announcement “King” or “Checkmate.”
