"Between India and America = Struggling and Flying - A Love Story", my talk at AT&T Bell Labs Indian Subcontinent Club on 1991 November 13,

At the time, I was working there at AT&T Bell Labs in New Jersey as Member of Technical Staff, a scientist-engineer type position, 

In the talk, I mentioned my visits to Mangalore University and various other places of learning and research in India over the years till then, and advanced the notion of a WIN / WIN collaboration, interaction and exchange program between U.S.A. and India, At&T and India, Indian origin people at Bell Labs and India, saying that it will be mutually beneficial for people of both countries, and that they are "made for each other", and the time was right for it. I also made a draft proposal idea for establishing a "Bell Labs India", and elaborating on it a bit more, I mentioned some relevant points, factors, ideas involved. And I encouraged others to come up with their proposals, ideas, input, reactions.
