in the several old photos here, from the mid 1980s, we see us (baby Shilpi, little Kavi, Usha, Raya) with family, relatives & friends, in New Jersey locations. Some photos were at our then apartment in Old Bridge, NJ before we moved to the newly built house in Howell NJ. We had signed up for the new construction in 1986 February, (?), and it became ready in December. We used to drive there and see the house being built, on weekends, when possible or convenient, like about twice a month, usually also visiting our friends Raghavan Pratiwadi & Mythili & family who lived in the same development.
There are also photos of us lawn mowing at our Howell home, of our young Kaviraj helping me with the lawn mowing, thus spending time together with me in that activity. Later on, after another year or two, young Shilpi also used to join us, the three of us holding it from behind the lawn mower. That was a great relaxing type activity for all of us.
