aanu hOddadu 2004 may not be exact, it could be like 2006 or so, mid 2000s anyways, before I started the Sanskrit class for children here at our HATCC Sri Guruvaayoorappan temple. On one of those India visits, I had also visited the famous Sanskrit Village (I think it was near Shivamogga, Mattur ???), along with my brother Rajendra and his son Shyamaraj. I think that was on an earlier visit in mid 2000s. I was also looking for books, that is Sanskrit teaching materials, then in bookshops etc. I finally had to kind of develop my own style, based on our own experiences regarding how we learn Kannada, English, Hindi etc as children. Indian American Children in USA, generally do not know much their Indian language mother tongue, they use English like mother tongue, very limited Indian words, do not know Indian language writing, so many such difficulties are there, better sitution with teaching Sanskrit for children in India regarding these aspects.

Although in severe shock and great stress, we have faced the challenges and moved forward crossing the barriers biases impediments etc that came before us, it was tough, not easy, for my wife and sons and the others also I brought up my two sons Kaviraj and Shilpi as future presidents of usa, with that attitude/ outlook/ mindset, supporting and encouraging the leadership nature already in them. They are born in usa, grew up in usa and consider themselves as Americans. The country, the people and the whole world including India where we parents are originally from will need their leadership and contributions to go forward towards better future vision in true spirit of America. It is the nature of truth, nature of nature, nature of humanity.

world drama stage, we are actors, everything we do on any day 24x7 is our acting role that day, all days put together it is our life on the world stage, acting is done means life is over, we try to do the best we can with all our pluses and minuses, desires, skills, biases, egos, arrogances, strengths, weaknesses, others helping, others hurting etc all included, not everything in our hands, this "acting" is our life journey, takes us to our destiny, fate, divine will, it is only way, NO CHOICE !

in the old photo here, from mid 2000s (?) perhaps, when I visited, we see the famous Sanskrit school Shri Rama Vidyakendra in Kalladka near Mangalore, India, that is in Kalladka, Dakshina Kannada District, TuLunaaDu region, Karnataka State, India. It looks like I am also there in the photo, second from left, standing in the back row. So, I think, they suggested the group photo, also requested me to join the group for the photo, with someone there to click the (my) camera, when I had asked if I could take photo(s).
