in the recent photo here, from a few years back, we see our good friends Amruthur Lakshmi Narasimhan and me, photo taken at his place, when I visited there and presented him this gift from us (seen holding in his hand in the photo), from our son Shilpi. It is the beer from Logsdon Farmhouse Ales, where Shilpi was working then in Portland OR region, and we had brought it with us after visiting him there. At the time, the company was relocating to Portland OR from Washougal WA. The company was in Hood River OR initially, and that's when Shilpi had joined them as a brewer, switching from another beer company (Widmer). He worked there in Hood River OR for some years, learning, getting trained, getting experience, contributing, leading, advising etc. He was promoted to Head Brewer while there. He had participated strongly in his leadership role during the two moves, for the factory, equipment, setup etc. He was much admired and respected by everyone there, co-workers, management, friends etc, Shilpi and the Logsdon company won several prestigious awards when he was working there. . .
