Hey, bitches. So my story is underway and I think i have a good plan for monday. But i'm curious on the best way to start. Do I just plop you down in an area? example: "y'all are standing by a babbling brook. what do you wanna do about it?" or do you start where you left off in george's town? I remember josh's intro but you all know each other now... i'm probably way overthinking this...

yeah, probably.

I see it as you are the narrator and we are the main characters of the story. We could be just leaving that town or we could be in the middle of no where. So you just set the scene and we do stupid shit.
I didn't explain how joshs character joined the group very well. My character is going to be new. So one of the first things that could happen is how we all meet.

It is up to you. If we are continuing the same characters, I think the main questions would be,

How long as it been since the events of George's campaign?

and How did we get here?

In fact, you don't even have to answer those... you could just say we all wake up wherever under whatever circumstances.

Cuz it's your thang...bananananana.... do what choowannado.

Feel free to put our characters anywhere you want them to be. It would be fine to have days, weeks or months even elapsed since the end of George's campaign. All you need is a little story about how we got to where we are (we were caught and thrown in a dungeon, we decided to travel to another city and are en route, we all went our separate ways but woke up together again on a different plane entirely.... anything).

That's my advice. Two pence.

So I'm playing a dwarven ranger. The group could be standing next the that babbling brook and see my guy washing his big beautiful beard in said brook. As they are mesmerized by my beard the beast I have been hunting strikes at them and I help save them.

I think it would be hilarious if the dwarf ranger had alopecia and was washing his luxurious fake beard
on a washing board... I know that would distract me somewhat.

i was actually about to email the group. do you guys know of a good character generator? where i could just put in the type of character i want and it will give me some stats for any npc i might need stats for? so i don't have to write them up myself?

i'm not very prepared for the session tonight. if you guys still want to play it might just be a bit shorter if that's okay.
sorry to fail you.

We could take some time to leveling everyone up to 8. Make sure everything is in order and then play.

i could use some prep time for my character, so a shorter game wouldn't bother me at all.

I think maybe I'm going to bail on this session; I have some stuff I have to take care of before Thurs. But don't let my absence stop y'all's from playing. Just let me know what happens. (My character wanders off muttering at/to himself, every-so-often yelling... His demonic heritage questioning his lack of demonic actions of late...).
