Here's something I didn't know about:

There's a method called recursiveDescription in UIView that will print a little tree of the view hierarchy.

Thanks for posting that- nice debugging technique to put in the bag of tricks. That site in general looks like it has a lot of good info. I had forgotten about the meeting but will try to get down there tonight before it starts.
