Thanks for the hint on UIKit artwork extractor. I found it at this URL:

That will come in handy.

Thanks for the links, Matt.

A couple of additional notes:

The Network Link Conditioner is with the developer tools if you install Xcode 4.1 or later on Lion. Just do a spotlight search and open the .prefpane file.

The appcrush script (that un-optimizes all the PNGs in an IPA) is here:

Also, start thinking of what you might want to present — or see presented — at the November meeting.
