We are arranging a visit of 41 people to Army base camp, Mhow (महू) and Shrimant Bajirao Peshwa Samadhi, Raverkhedi, Madhya Pradesh between 13th and 19th August 2016. During the visit, we are also planning to meet Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, CM, Madhya Pradesh and visit Omkareshwar temple, Janapav – the birth place of Bhagwan Parshuram and other places in Indore.
The detailed program as follows –
*13th August:*
10:00PM – Start from Pune by 2x2 AC Volvo semi sleeper bus.
*14th August:*
08:00AM – Reach Janapav Kuti – the birth place of Bhagwan Parshuram. Freshen up and explore Janapav.
02:00PM – Start for Mhow.
Dinner and camping with soldiers at Mhow army base camp. Kindly note that it’s a camping with jawans and not a luxurious stay at Mhow. Enjoy and experience the adventurous difference.
*15th August:*
It’s Independence Day
07:00AM – Attend Flag Hoisting Ceremony and celebrate 70th Independence Day with soldiers.
10:00AM – Weapons display (subject to permission from army) and interaction with soldiers.
03:00PM – Leave for Indore. Night stay at Indore.
*16th August:*
Indore sight-seeing.
*17th August:*
Breakfast meeting with Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan in Bhopal.
The meeting is in regards to the protection, beautification and development of Peshwa Memorial – the historical legacy.
Return and stay at Indore after meeting.
*18th August:*
It’s Bajirao Peshwa Jayanti
07:00 AM – Start for Omkareshwar and then to Shrimant Bajirao Peshwa Samadhi, Raverkhedi. Pay tribute to the great Peshwa on his birthday. Take a dip in Narmada if you wish.
06:00 PM – Return Journey. Start for Pune.
*19th August:*
08:00 AM – Expected arrival time at Pune.
*Note:*
1. Estimate expenses Rs. 15000/- per person.
2. The cost is inclusive of food (pure veg.) and stay for the entire tour.
3. Booking on first come first serve basis.
4. The entire travel i.e. from Pune to Indore and back (including sight-seeing) will be by 2x2 AC Volvo Semi sleeper.
5. Except Mhow, the stay will be in a good hotel.
6. The timings are tentative and subject to change based on situation.
7. THIS IS SOMETHING MORE THAN A PICNIC; NOT A COMMERCIAL TOUR BUT A JOURNEY WITH PEOPLE LIKE YOU HAVING UTMOST CARE AND RESPECT FOR OUR LEGACIES.
