SB 02.01.11 – Doubtless & Fearless way of success

TRANSLATION

O King, constant chanting of the holy name of the Lord after the ways of the great authorities is the doubtless and fearless way of success for all, including those who are free from all material desires, those who are desirous of all material enjoyment, and also those who are self-satisfied by dint of transcendental knowledge.

In this verse, the words akuto-bhayam are very significant which means doubtless and fearless way of success. This verse is indicating that whatever occupational duty we are doing, we can continue with it but we have to add just one component mentioned in this verse- Chanting of holy names i.e Hare Krishna Mahamantra.

So if we are chanting Hare Krishna Mahamantra daily while executing our other responsibilities, then without any doubt or fear we should be confident of achieving the highest success- Love for the Supreme Person Krishna. Many times while practicing devotional activities, we get a doubt, “Is it really going to help me in any aspect?” This verse is indicating that we should refrain ourselves from such doubts & keep doing this process of chanting Hare Krishna Mahamantra.
