You may be familiar with the saying, “kaṇādam pāṇinīyam ca sarvaśāstropakārakam”—meaning that an understanding of Nyāya and Pāṇinian Grammar is incredibly helpful, if not inevitable, when studying any śāstram. This is exactly why we conduct classes on both these subjects.

Up to now, our nyaya sessions have been conducted once per week. However, some of you may have the time, interest, and desire for accelerated learning.

To cater to those who wish to acquire this knowledge more quickly, we are very pleased to announce the commencement of Daily Classes on Vidyādharī, a commentary on Tarkasaṁgrahaḥ (a Nyāyagrantha).

About the Classes:

·       Medium: The classes will be conducted in Sanskrit (clarifications in English only where absolutely essential).

·       Format: These are live, online sessions held via FreeConferenceCall. All classes will be recorded for future reference.

·       Teacher: Śukavanam Mahodaya.

·       Expectations: Students will be expected to read a portion of the lessons during class and explain their understanding. Regular attendance is expected. Homework may be prescribed, and oral examinations will be conducted to review students' progress.

·       Note: Students are not expected to memorize anything at all!

These classes will begin very soon. The exact daily timing will be finalized bearing in mind the convenience of the group.
