Hello,
I inherited my late grandfather's Vietnam photos. I am in the process of scanning and compiling the material to share publicly; However, I do not know the exact troop / company my grandfather was in.
His name is Gerald DeFabio. The photos are date stamped as early as Feb. 1967 and also picture the Fort Sill Reenlistment Office (building 2927). I have his Vietnam pin with the BlackHorse regiment and service dates as well as his medals.
I haven't been able to locate his name in the rosters. My ctrl+F isn't working on the sheets for some reason. I'd like to learn which company he was in so that I can research the other boys who are pictured in service with him. I believe it is important, more now than ever, for living descendants of Vietnam Veterans, and surviving Vietnam veterans, to see these photos and connect with the reality of them.
