Relative in the 11th Cavalry

I am suspecting you get a lot of letters like this.

I recently discovered my grandfather served in Troop L of the 11th Cavalry from May 6, 1901 to June 12, 1903. His name was Nathan Saul.

Reading several histories of the 11th Cavalry, including the Blackhorse Association, I suspect he would have enlisted in the Regular Army 11th Cavalry even though there are slight overlaps with the dates of the Volunteer 11th Cavalry Regiment. The VA card that I have of him does not specify.

I plan to go to the National Archives to see if I can find his military records. Do you have any additional records or, perhaps, photos that did not end up in your article?
