Visiting the National Portrait Gallery was a great learning
experience. In fact, most of the portraits illustrated in the gallery
are people that have contributed to the expansion and the improvement
of the United States that led the country to become what it is today.
The portrait that stood out to me the most was William Jefferson
Clinton also known as Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton is very inspirational
to me for two main reasons. The first one is that Bill Clinton, raised
in a poor family and so with financial difficulties, first fought to
go to the university in order to get degrees but more importantly
fought for his own convictions. The second that make me admire Bill
Clinton is that his presidency led to the longest economic expansion
period of the Modern American History. Indeed, by studying
international management, Bill Clinton seems to be a good example in
terms of governance and leadership.
