I encourage you to consider participating in the BGSU Undergraduate Research Symposium if you are involved in undergraduate research this semester. “Undergraduate Research Symposium: Celebrating Student Excellence” will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2014, from 2:00PM to 6:00PM in Olscamp Hall room 101. This event will showcase undergraduate student research projects via poster displays and and those honors students completing their honors project will be eligible for oral presentations. To participate you must submit a presentation application by March 7, 2014 at midnight using the online registration form: http://goo.gl/pRf06s

There is no registration fee for participating. It is a good idea to have your research advisor read and advise you about your project summary or abstract before you submit it.

Participating in this event will be a good item to add to your resume and could help you with future graduate or professional school applications or job seeking so I highly recommend that you participate. Some of you may be participating in the Posters at the Capitol even or the BGSU Choose Ohio First Symposium or the State Choose Ohio First Scholars Showcase. If so, you can probably use the same poster for this event.
