Civic Action Leader Scholarships

Are you a first year student who is passionate about volunteering, community service, and social justice? If so, you should apply to be a Civic Action Leader (CAL) in the Office of Service-Learning. The CAL program is a 3-year scholarship program. Students apply in the spring of their first year and participate in the program during their sophomore, junior, and senior years. Responsibilities include planning service events like MLK, Jr. Day and advising students on volunteer opportunities. Selected students receive a scholarship package of $6,100 annually! (My understanding is that this scholarship can add to your other scholarships including GRAMS.)
