Hello GRAMS scholars and welcome to Fall 2013!

I would like to tell you all about a wonderful volunteer opportunity coming up this weekend, Saturday September 7th. It is STEM in the Park which is a large event hosted by the Northwest Ohio Center for Excellence in STEM Education (Dr. Midden is the director). The event features about 70 or more hands-on activities for children to enjoy with their families, all involving science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) in some way. These activities are led by representatives from BGSU as well as other universities and colleges, a number of non-profit organizations, and some businesses from the region.

STEM in the Park is held in Perry Field House from 10:00am-2:00pm and we your help with leading elementary school kids around to various activities. We would need your assistance between 10:30am until approximately 2:00pm.

Volunteers also receive a FREE T-Shirt and FREE lunch from Tony Packo!

NWO's STEM in the Park event is fast approaching and we are asking for your help in recruiting volunteers.

This exciting FREE hands-on STEM event will be held on the BGSU campus in the

Perry Field House on Saturday, September 7, 2013 from 10:00am-2:00pm

(free lunch catered by Tony Packos for all volunteers!)
