Dear Board Game Scholars and Enthusiasts,
As you know the XXVIII Board Games Studies Colloquium is around the corner. It will take place in Alicante from April 27 – 30, 2026.
Find a version or our conference programme attached to this email. Be mindful that this is still subject to change. We will update our website accordingly prior to the conference.
The programme this year includes a total of 44 presentations of a variety of topics, excursions to the local archaeological museum MARQ-Alicante, as well as the usual conference dinner, and the gaming night where we will learn about dominoes with a local specialist.
The social programme will also include a football match so you might want to pack some sports gear if you want to join us.
Registration will continue open until we have booked out the venue capacity, so make sure you secure the last seats. You can register at this link.
You are all very welcome to join us for this meaningful event.
Looking forward to meeting you there.
Best Regards,
The 28th BGSC Organizing Committee,
