Dear BGS friends and colleagues.

The GameTable network is excited to announce the opening of the Call for Papers for the special issue of the ACM Journal on Computing and Cultural Heritage: Computational Techniques for Games Heritage! This is a really well-suited venue for computationally-focused work that studies traditional and heritage games—the kind of work we are trying to encourage in GameTable. See the attached call for details, or reach out to our guest editors for more details or if you have an idea! The submission deadline is September 30, 2026, so there is plenty of time to conceive of a project and write it.

Looking forward to your submission!

Best wishes,
Walter Crist
