Game in Lab - 2025 call for projects

Dear all,

We are happy to announce the opening of the Game in Lab 2025 international call for projects, which will be accepting submissions until September 15^th.

We invite research teams all around the world to submit their proposals about board games. All areas are welcome, whether social sciences, psychology, linguistics, arts, or any other.

 

This year, Game in Lab offers two tracks: one dedicated to fundamental research to advance theoretical knowledge and understanding of play and games, and a new track focused on applied research with a social impact dimension. This second track supports projects that explore how games can address social challenges and produce actionable insights for communities in which games can make a difference.

 

Considering the international scope of this call, we kindly ask you to share it with anyone who might be interested in applying. We hope to rely on your support to take this call to new heights and express our gratitude in advance for your dedication and help.

Good morning. Since part of my research is on board games of indigenous peoples of South America, I'm interested in applying for my research team for this project. Please send me the application requirements. Currently, until May 31st, I'm in Aranda de Duero as co-coordinator of a conference on traditional games from around the world, bringing together researchers from all continents.
