Dear colleagues,

 

We are pleased to share the launch of the Game in Lab 2026 International Call for Projects.

 

Game in Lab is an initiative supported by Asmodee that funds independent academic research on board games and their impact on individuals and society. The programme welcomes applications from researchers across a wide range of disciplines, including (but not limited to) game studies, psychology, sociology, education, health sciences, economics, and design.

 

The 2026 Call for Projects supports both fundamental and applied research. Selected projects may receive up to €20,000 in funding for research lasting up to 24 months. Applications are open until 25 September 2026 at 12:00 PM (Paris time, GMT+2).
