XXVIII BGSC | Call for paper deadline has been extended

[BGSC]

Dear colleagues and friends in Board Game Studies,

We would like to let you know that the call for papers for the upcoming 28th Board Game Studies Colloquium, which will happen in Alicante, April 27 – 30, 2026, has been extended to the 5th of January 2026. Therefore, if you have not done so already, there is still time for submitting your proposal.

You can find the call for papers here, and the registration form, here.

Please note that all registrations will only be valid once you have sent us confirmation of payment to lu...@ludicum.org

In addition, given the high interest of researchers from non-European countries in attending, we are considering having an online panel. When submitting registration and communication please note whether you will not be able to attend in person.

Please refer to the Board Game Studies site for more information, this will be updated regularly as we close in on our meeting.
