Welcome to BGG Anonymous,

Ooh, I now have to find other stuff to do to occupy my time. I wonder
how my Resistance PBF is going :) heheh
I know everyone must be feeling the same thing about now :)

But to distract me from withdrawal symptoms,
I've been busy updating my long-over-due blog & putting up a new game
review, checked out more kickstarter projects, finally caught up with
gifting all my facebook zynga friends, did some work, and went outside
to catch some sunlight....argh it burns! (hehe jk)

What have you been doing to pass the time/curb your cravings while BGG
is getting upgraded?

PS. I really appreciate all the hard work those guys are doing trying
to upgrade & do maintenance on the servers, and I'm sure everyone
feels the same way :) Hang in there :)

I would bet that traffic on all the other boardgaming sites are at
record highs right now...

Trying to do as little as possible and succeeding quite nicely!
Going through our games and seeing which games we're going to video
review first. My 11yr old daughter can't wait to start making reviews
with me.

I'm also enjoying a quiet house. The wife and kids are all out
shopping, so it's just me and the dog who won't stop staring out the
window wondering where everyone went. Good news is that they might
come home with Super Dungeon Explore if the local hobby shop has it.

Played two football (soccer, calcio futebol) matches.

I was a sub in the first with a higher team and got 1 minute of
playing time and played the entire second game with my normal team.
We won both matches 3-1, so I'm pretty happy about that!

Would've thought that the blackout had gone by now, but I guess it
takes a lot of time to hide all those easter eggs. :)

You don't really think that BGG is the only thing I have OCD about, do
you?

Radio Three in the UK are just coming to an end of their Schubert
marathon - for 8 days they have played nothing but Schubert 24 hours a
day. I am a huge Schubert nut, so have spent my waking hours recording
stuff, and listening to what I have recorded. Several days' worth to
go yet.

Strangely enough, I was out actually playing board games!

Day 3...
I went out to a restaurant for dinner...and over-ate, and road my bike in the moonlight...argh it burns!
but the craving was too much.
I checked the site 5 times today.

I think someone needs to remind me what the 10 step program was...

Step 1 is admitting you have a problem. Well done there.

The first step is denial. I'm pretty proficient already, but I've been practicing by repeatedly saying aloud "I do not have a problem."

Went road cycling for about 30 miles... came home and flew my R/C
helicopter a few times.

Think I'll make some lunch and head downstairs for some Gears of War 3
or Skyrim on the 360.
